BlackBird Frame & Art Employees and Owner Earn Distinguished CPF Designation

BlackBird Frame & Art announced in the Spring of 2009 that three of its staff have been designated as Certified Picture Framers (CPFs) by the Professional Picture Framers Association.

John Nelson, a 20 year veteran (left), Natalie Hood, a framer for 10 years, and John Horrocks, co-owner for 17 years, passed a comprehensive examination to earn the recognition, making BlackBird the region’s only frame shop with three CPFs.

The Certified Picture Framer designation signifies experience and extensive knowledge, particularly on issues of preservation framing methods.
